PT 20 – 25 hours per week: $22 – $24/hr
Position Summary:
The Aquatic Assistant will work closely with the Aquatic Director to facilitate schedules, assist in coordinating group lessons, some parent communications, and the general operations of the aquatic center at Columbia Athletic Clubs. This role will also oversee the success of the youth Swim Team and serve as a deck hand during Group Lessons during the week. All to ensure that these programs contribute to the overall success of the Club. This position helps maintain the professionalism and high safety standards of the Aquatics dept as a whole. The Aquatic Assistant can instruct lessons, lifeguard and coach. Work is reviewed in terms of member satisfaction, safety, cleanliness and professionalism.
This is a PT position with hours needed Monday – Thursday, 3 – 8pm. Could be considered for FT when blended with other roles or duties.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in the aquatic industry.
- 2 years experience private or group swim instructor.
- CPR FPR certified.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certified.
