Healthy Washington Protocols

Attention Members,

In accordance with the latest guidance from the King County Department of Health, Covid-19 vaccination verification will be required for access to our our Pine Lake and Juanita Bay facilities for all members and guests, ages 12 and up, effective Monday, October 25th.

The Vaccine mandate does not currently apply to our Silver Lake and Super Range locations (Snohomish County). This mandate only applies to King County.

While CAC recognizes that this mandate is a potential burden for some, we remain committed to following all Federal, State, and local directives as they pertain to virus mitigation, and we remain focused on moving forward as a community. Your continued membership to the Club means a great deal to the employees and ownership of CAC, and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide a safe, healthy facility for you and your family.

Our goal is to make the process of providing your COVID-19 vaccination status as simple as possible, and would encourage you to reach out to the Club before the October 25th timeframe. You can email a picture of your CDC-issued vaccination card or a screenshot of your Myir.net COVID vaccination record to Club Manager Cody Glad at codyg@columbiaathletic.com (Juanita Bay), or Sue Dowling at sued@columbiaathletic.com (Pine Lake) for confirmation of your COVID vaccination status at any time. To make it easier for couple and family members you can provide images for all applicable members. If you prefer to bring your information to the Club and provide your vaccine information physically, the Front Desk and the Membership Department are both available to help. You will only need to provide vaccine information to CAC one time, after which staff will be notified upon check-in that you have provided the necessary information. No vaccine information will be copied or retained by CAC once a staff member has confirmed an eligible vaccine confirmation exists.

If you are unable to provide proof of vaccination the State is requiring us to verify a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your visit to the Club. CAC is not equipped to test onsite, this must be done by a State approved testing provider.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this latest mandate, and we hope it creates an extra layer of comfort for our members accessing the Club. For our members who remain on freeze at this time, if the implementation of the vaccine requirement impacts your desire to return to the Club, please reach out to our Membership Department at jbcmem@columbiaathletic.com for Juanita Bay, or plcmem@columbiaathletic.com for Pine Lake with any questions or to reactivate your membership.

Additional Safety Guidelines

  • Due to the current statewide mask mandate, we require all members and guests ages 5 and older to mask up as they enter the Club regardless of vaccination status. This includes while exercising and in group exercise classes. The only exception is while swimming or playing tennis.
  • We’ve added GPS Needlepoint Bipolar ionization to our high-traffic area HVAC units. These air scrubbers work as added filtration and reduce air pollutants and viruses including H1N1 family of viruses (up to 99.4%). Additionally, we’ve added AirPHX units throughout our facilities which are rated air and surface killers of Coronavirus, mRSA, norovirus, E Coli, and more.
  • We’ve increased daily scheduled cleaning of all equipment and all touch points throughout the Clubs.
  • We’ve added additional detail and scope for our nightly cleaning crews.
  • You’ll see touchless hand sanitizers and additional cleaning options throughout the Club.
  • Our pools continue to use UV light along with existing water purification systems to assure the best sanitation.
  • Our facilities have been and will continue to be deep cleaned, including carpets, flooring and other areas of the Clubs.
  • Additional cleaning and PPE equipment will be stocked in all facilities for staff use.
  • Equipment wipes, hand soap, and cleaning supplies are all treated with antibacterial and antiviral properties.

Membership

  • We are still operating in an opt-in dues scenario. If you wish to stay on freeze no further action is required at this time. You will need to have an active membership to access the Club and to enroll in any classes or Club programming.

Fitness

-The free weight, circuit and cardio area of the club will be fully open under standard operations. Some areas of the club may still have some restrictions in place as we continue the process of fully reopening.

-Additional cleaning and sanitizing supplies will be available for member use.

Aquatics

-Lap lanes are available throughout the day for individual Lap swim. Please plan on lane sharing when necessary. See facility schedules for more information. Reservations may be required. Reserve online or at the front desk.

-Youth and adult private swim lessons are available with some limitations. Group lessons may be available, please contact your Club for more details.

-Swim Team is available, please contact your Club for more details. Pre-registration required.

-Our pools are also available for family swim. Reservatons may be required. See facility schedules for more information. Reserve online or at the front desk.

Group Exercise/Small Group Training

Group Exercise and Small Group Training classes are now available. Reservations may be required for some classes. Call your Club for specific program information.

Massage (Pine Lake and Silver Lake only)

Massage bookings are available. Contact the Club to book a massage.

Kids Club

Kids Club is open! However, some services may not be currently available. Reservations are required. Please note: at this time masks are required for children ages 5 and up. Masks are recommended for children ages 2 to 4.

Youth Programming       

Limited youth programs are available at this time. Please contact your Club for more information.

Tennis (Pine Lake and Silver Lake only)

-Tennis courts are open for singles and doubles play.

-Private and small group lessons are also available for booking. Junior programming is available, please contact your club for more information.

-ACE booking system is active with standard court reservation policies in place.

Squash (Juanita Bay only)

Court 3 has have been converted into a temporary workout studio. However, play is available on Courts 1 and 2. Member facilitated round-robin play is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
