Born and raised right here in King County, Austin has always called Western Washington home. From a young age, he played sports year-round, which he feels taught him many valuable life lessons. Austin is a recent graduate of Washington State University, where he majored in Sports Management and minored in Communications.

When he’s not staying active—whether it’s running with his dog, working out, playing basketball, or hitting the pickleball courts—you’ll probably find him watching a sporting event. One of his fitness goals is to join the 1,000-pound club (1,000 combined pounds lifted through bench press, deadlift, and squat). Recently, he and his friends completed the Ragnar Northwest Passage run here in Washington State. They finished the 200-mile relay in 29 hours, 15 minutes, and 4 seconds, averaging an 8:48 mile pace. Their team placed 26th out of 132 in their age group. This accomplishment motivated him to train for a half marathon, with hopes of pursuing a full marathon in the future.

As Membership Director, Austin is passionate about helping both current and future members jumpstart their fitness journeys. He loves building connections and always enjoys when members stop by his office for a quick chat. So whenever you walk by, be sure to say hi—it will make his day!
