Felipe first joined the Columbia team in March of 2013 in the Aquatics Department and has taken on the role of Membership Director as of October 2022. He discovered a passion for learning about world cultures and working with children earlier in his life and has put that passion to work in a variety of local Aquatics facilities for the past 12 years, as a Swim Instructor, Water Fitness Instructor, Lifeguard, Swim School Director, and Pool Operations Manager. Felipe spends his free time with his wife and 3 children touring the beautiful State of Washington, catching live music shows, and supporting mom-and-pop restaurants.

As Membership Director, Felipe will assist our members in connecting with any and all available resources to help them reach their health and fitness goals and to experience a strong sense of equity and community as part of our Columbia Athletic Family.
