Youth Activities

We are excited to be able to offer some fall and winter youth programming and camps! With each offering, campers can expect a wide range of activities that will typically include crafts, sports, swimming and games. If the weather is in our favor, we also love to get the kids outside for a nature walk, scavenger hunt or free play on the equipment at Juanita Beach Park. Full Day Camp is appropriate for children age 5 to 12. Please be sure to pack your camper with a swimsuit, a few snacks, a water bottle, appropriate footwear, a change of clothes (optional), and a sack lunch.

Registration Rules

Registration is ONLINE and must be received at least 24 hours in advance.
If there is room and you’re dropping in or have registered within 24 hours of the camp day, there is a camp drop in fee of $10 IN ADDITION to the daily camp rate.

Cancellations


For withdrawals or cancellation from camp, a refund/credit will be granted if the withdrawal or cancellation request is received at least 1 week prior to camp.

No refund/credit will be granted with less than 1 week notice. (Exceptions include illness and emergencies.)

Safety & Procedures

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, we have revised our programs to ensure all the safety guidelines and protocols outlined for us by the CDC are strictly followed. Changes of what you can expect to see are outlined below:

  • Drop-off and pick-up will be outside at the landing before the staircase, next to the benches. This will be a touchless drop-off and pick-up, meaning you will not be required to sign your camper in/out as in previous years. This of course will be contingent on weather; should it be very cold or raining, drop-off and pick-up will be in the Club lounge.
  • Thermal temperature screening will be done for staff as they arrive to the Club for the day. Children will also be screened upon drop-off. Any person exhibiting signs of illness or a temperature reading of 100.4 or higher will be sent home.
  • The number of camp participants will be limited. We will have no more than 8 campers to a Camp Leader ratio. Even though the campers will be together during camp activities we will separate them smaller, more distanced groups as needed.
  • Camp Leaders and campers are required to wear a mask at all times in the Club. Exceptions will be when breaking for lunch or water.
  • Each child will have their own cubbies or hooks to store their personal belongings.
  • Breaks for hand washing and sanitization between activities will be frequent.
  • The Club will not provide snacks as in past years; please make sure your camper has water, lunch and a few additional snacks packed each day of camp.
  • While we will take water breaks, access to the drinking fountain will not be an option. Please ensure your camper arrives with a water bottle. Staff will be able to fill your campers packed water bottle throughout the day.
  • If applicable, personal kits of arts and crafts will be provided.

Conference Day Camp

The afternoons are full of fun and excitement at the gym! The kids will have a great time creating new friendships, playing games and of course, swimming.

LEAP Day Camp

Let us take your kids for an active, fun-filled day at the club! We will play dodgeball, soccer, and football, just to name a few. You can count on crazy games, relays and even an obstacle course!

Veteran’s Day Camp

Join us as we salute our veterans during this action packed day. We will dive into some crafts, play gym games and honor the day the right way.

Drop and Shop

It’s the biggest day of the shopping year! Let us take the kids so you can shop until you drop! We will play all day while you get started on your holiday shopping.

Winter Wonderland

Fill your vacation days with games and crafts celebrating the winter season. We will also decorate cookies and have plenty of hot chocolate. Join us for the winter adventure!

Snow Days

Spend your winter break running and playing in the gym! Join us for a week filled with games like ‘snowman building’, ski jumping, and sled racing. We will round out each day with a wintry craft.

ACTIVITIES


Swim ‘N’ Gym

A favorite of CAC kids! Meet in the basketball court, then we will head down to the family pool for some fun, free swim! We will then transition back up to the basketball court for tag games, sports, and organized play! Please have kids come with swimsuits on already under their clothing. Drop off and pick up are in the basketball court. Currently not running, but will restart later this year.
