We offer a range of water aerobics classes, led by highly experienced instructors, to improve strength, range of motion, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility. Our aquatics center at Silver Lake features a 25-yard indoor lap pool and therapy pool, and a 15-yard indoor teaching/therapy pool. We also have a seasonal outdoor pool for the summer months.
This balanced workout incorporates walking and rebounding (bouncing) in various directions, using different strides and upper body movements. Slower paced than regular water aerobics classes for exercisers with arthritis, fibromyalgia, or joint replacements. Ideal for post-surgery rehab, pre/post-natal workouts, and cross training.
Use water and special equipment as resistance to elevate heart rate, and shape, tone, and strengthen muscles. Make this workout as challenging as you want with water resistance, speed, and equipment. Heart rate monitors are encouraged.
Integrates the exercises of circuit training and speed intervals to improve muscular strength, endurance, range of motion, balance, and mobility. Pilates-based exercises develop core strength and length. The class ends with yoga-style stretching to enhance posture and body awareness.
