Pine Lake Junior Tennis Summer Camps

CAC - Pine Lake, following the health and safety guidelines set by the governor, is happy to offer summer tennis programming for juniors! Our staff is trained on how to create and maintain a safe playing environment.

Registration for Summer classes can be submitted through the link above, or by email at dusko@columbiaathletic.com. Once received & confirmed a form of payment must be added if you are a Non-member.

Cancellation or refund from camp will require a minimum of 1 weeks notice in writing to Dusko in order to receive a full refund.

WEEKDAY TENNIS CAMPS


Classes will run Monday through Thursday during the week, as well as Saturday mornings. Each class will be a mixture of learning tennis fundamentals and skill based games. Pine Lake is excited to continue to be a safe place where students get to play, learn, and be active. Session 2: June 27 – 30
Session 3: July 5 – 7 (3 days, no class July 4th)
Session 4*: July 11 – 14

HALF DAY CAMPS


These are weekly junior tennis camps for all skill levels and abilities. Participating clubs for Optional (TBA) Interclub Friday matches have not been confirmed, but we will update all the registered players once that changes. Each class will be a mixture of learning tennis fundamentals as well as plenty of fun games. Players should sign up for the class associated with their age.
Days: Monday – Thursday
Times: 1 – 2:30pm (Ages 5 – 11) | 2:30 – 4pm (Ages 12 +)
Fees: $151 + tax Tennis Member/$176 + tax Athletic Member/$215 + tax Non-member

FULL DAY CAMPS


We offer 7 one-week full day camps. Each camp is Monday through Thursday and is for all skill levels and ages. We break mid-day for swimming in the pool and lunch before returning to the courts for more point play. These camps are a great way to have an activity filled week and improve your game while having fun. Campers need to bring bathing suit, water and a sack lunch.

SATURDAY CAMPS


Similar to our Half Day Camps but take place one day a week.
Time: 10:30 – 11:15am
Ages: 4  – 6
Fees: $80 + tax Tennis Member/$101 + tax Athletic Member/$125 + tax Non-member

Time: 10:30 – 11:30am
Ages: 7 – 10
Fees: $107 + tax Tennis Member/$133 + tax Athletic Member/$164 + tax Non-member

F.A.Q.


Q: What is the student to instructor ratio?
A: We maintain a 6:1 student/instructor ratio for all of our classes.

Q: Do we have to be a member to register?
A: No, we welcome non-members in our Jr. Tennis program. There are different rates, depending on your membership status. If you are interested in membership, please contact our Membership Director, Amelia Ada, at amelia@columbiaathletic.com.

Q: Can I join in the middle of the session?
A: Yes, depending on availability, you can join in the middle of the session and receive prorated registration fees.

Q: I submitted my Jr. Tennis registration request, what are next steps?
A: After your request is received, we will verify there is space in the class, and then contact you via phone to get a credit card on file for non-members so we can bill for the session.

Q: I am going to be absent on one of the class dates. Are there makeup classes?
A: Makeup classes will only be accommodated if notice is given in writing, on the registration form, prior to the start of the session. Once the session has started, no makeups or credits will be issued.

Q: Will my child move up each session?
A: Each child is different, and we cannot guarantee when your child will be ready for the next level. If you are looking to register for future sessions, please register them for the same level they are currently in. We will contact you as soon as your child is ready to move up.

Q: When does registration open?
A: Registration is ongoing, therefore you can sign-up for multiple sessions in advance. You will be billed one week prior to the start of each session.

Q: How is pricing formatted?
A: The price listed is for 4 classes per session, therefore once per week. If you select to come multiple times per week, the price will be multiplied by the number of days you choose to attend per week. Sometimes our sessions are longer/shorter than 4 weeks, therefore pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

Q: What does my child need to bring to class?
A: Please have your child wear proper athletic clothing, as well as shoes with non-marking soles. If they have a racquet, bring it! If not, we have plenty available for use. 

Q: Can I take a trial class before registering for a session?
A: We do not offer trial classes. Please review the class descriptions, to see where your child best fits in. After the first class of the session, we will contact you if a level adjustment is needed. If your child is more advanced than Level 3, and has trained for 5+ years at an advanced level, please reach out to our tennis director, Dusko, for evaluation. dusko@columbiaathletic.com.
